Phil Hellmuth's Foul-Mouthed Outburst After Bad Beat Exit From WSOP NL Event

Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth has lived up to his nickname once more, after erupting with an explosion of expletives following his exit from the WSOP $5k Triple Chance No-Limit Hold’em event.
The 46 year-old WSOP legend let loose with such gems as “God! Are you f**king kidding me,” and “How f**king bad are you?” as he vented his frustration on his amused opponent.
Prior to the tournament, Hellmuth had tweeted: “I have a good feeling about tomorrow’s 5k buy in WSOP Triple Chance NL Hold’em tournament.”
However, the next day on 31k in chips and around half of the 817 starting field remaining, Hellmuth got involved in a three-way pot holding 3-3 to his pro opponent’s 10-10 and amateur opponent’s As-9h.
With the flop then falling 3h-9d-4c, Hellmuth bet 2k on the flop with the 10-10 calling, and A-9 check-raising to 7k. As Hellmuth later explained:
“I made 12k thinking I might fold my set if pro moved, pro snap folded 10-10 and A-9 moved in… only guy that had me covered…flipped hands up and it came 9, then 4! He had worlds easiest fold.”
On the phone to his wife at the time, Hellmuth then disbelievingly told her, “the guy just put in 50k with ace-nine – I got him to put in 50k with top pair,” before then turning to his opponent and exclaiming, “How f**king bad are you?”
Nonetheless, his amateur opponent was obviously relishing witnessing a renowned Phil Hellmuth blow-up at close quarters and was seen putting a knee on his seat, and punching the air with a fist whilst hollering: “I got Phil Hellmuth!”
Managing to restrain himself slightly, the 11-times WSOP bracelet winner then shook his opponent by the hand with a definite look of disdain on his face before sarcastically declaring:
“Very nice play, sir, very nice play,” before heading to the nearest exit.
Phil Hellmuth then took to his twitter account and called his opponent a ‘horrible’ player before tweeting:
“Went to www.CardPlayer.com to run math: A-9 had 3.4% chance to beat me… Done w it now, time to rest up, gather my strength, and WIN #12!!”
