Party Poker Adds Bounty Tournaments

October 22nd, 2009 Author: Jenny White

Party Poker Adds Bounty TournamentsParty Poker has updated their software and players are enjoying the new upgrades to the online poker room.  The software will now remember your preferred table layout, keeps better player notes and now there are going to be bounty tournaments on Party Poker.

Remember table layout feature lets you keep your preferences when you are moved to another table in a multi table tournament.  So your new table will be the same exact shape and size.  When players were moved to a new table before the upgrade the table would default to the standard table layout.

To enable the feature members need to Preferences and select General then general options and then check the ‘Remember Table Layout’ option.

Bounty tournaments have been around for some time and it enables players to win more money.  When playing a bounty tournament part of your buy in goes into the prize pool and the rest is your bounty.  When you take someone out of the tourney you win their bounty.

You will be able to see bounty tournaments appearing on Party Poker today. Here is what Party Poker had to say about the upgrades to the software:

“We are always listening to customers and consistently striving to improve our product.  The introduction of new bounty tournaments adds an exciting fun dimension to play. These changes come on top of the introduction of the hand history replayer and super speed games last month. Coming up in the future is the introduction of RSA tokens and synchronized breaks.”
