Exciting New High Stakes Cash Poker Show To Air In June

This June will see the launch of a brand new high-stakes cash game TV show, called ‘The PokerStars.net Big Game,’ that will be shown five days a week on the Fox network.
The one hour show will feature a $200/$400 and $100 ante cash game, played by some of the most respected poker pros in the business, including Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, Jason Mercier, Barry Greenstein, Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer.
However, in an exciting twist to the usual format associated with other poker shows, ‘The PokerStars.net Big Game’ will be unique in having a PokerStars SuperNova Elite player and one PokerStars.net qualifier, called a Loose Cannon, playing alongside the pros. Moreover, the Loose Cannon will be given a $100,000 stake for the game and be allowed to keep anything he wins over that amount or return the following week hoping to extend his gains.
Recording of the show will begin in Las Vegas this May and is expected to air on Fox on June 14. As well as plenty of poker action, the show will also include special poker segments and in-depth interviews with many stars of the game.
Commenting on ‘The PokerStars.net Big Game,’  Daniel Negreanu said: “This show has all the necessary bells and whistles to make it a monster success on television. It’s a cash game, which all die hard poker fans prefer and it’s guaranteed to be action packed with the introduction of the Loose Cannon.”
“For the viewer and fan, not only will they get an inside look into how pros think about the game, but they’ll also get a chance to actually appear on the show. I can’t wait to play.”
If you fancy your chances, then qualifiers for the show are currently running four times a day on PokerStars, with USA and Canadian players able to enter a free Big Game Round 1 qualifier up until June 25.
