PartyPoker Premier League IV Adds Hellmuth and Schwartz To Roster

The list of poker pros lining up to join season four of the PartyPoker Premier League continues to grow, with none other than ‘Poker Brat’ Phil Hellmuth and Luke ‘_FullFlush_’ Schwartz adding their names to an already impressive line-up.
A PartyPoker spokesman said of their latest signings: “We did a lot of soul searching rather than soul owning before deciding to invite Luke into the Premier League. The fact is that he is a great player and he will certainly ignite the line-up and we haven’t even completed it yet! It will be particularly interesting to see how he comes off in a verbal sparring battle against the Poker Brat himself, Phil Hellmuth.”
The televised competition takes place in Las Vegas from 12th to 18th February 2010, and players already taking their place at the 11 pro and one qualifier line-up, includes Mike Sexton, J.C. Tran, sensational Ukranian born Yevgeniy Timoshenko, and triple-crown winner Roland de Wolfe.
A typically boisterous and confident Luke Schwartz said: “I can’t wait to get to Vegas and crush the field in the PartyPoker.com Premier League. For sure there are some big names playing but I have to be a huge favourite. They need to know that I’m coming with my sharky hat on and it’s gonna be a whole week of soul owning from Full Flush.”
The Premier League originated in the UK and has a shootout-style format that sees preliminary heat winners qualify for a place at the final table. During its three season history, the competition has crowned Juha Helppi, Roland de Wolfe and J.C. Tran as champions. One player that is hoping to add his name to the trophy this year will be 11 times WSOP bracelet winner, Phil Hellmuth Jr. Commenting on his forthcoming appearance at the event, Hellmuth said:
“I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League and starting the new decade off on the right note! After being points leader in the Premier League in 2006, 2007 and 2008 I was relegated, and it is time to step up and claim a title!”
