Bwin And Dragonfish In New Italian Online Casino Offering
March 22, 2010 10:27 amDragonfish has teamed up with Bwin to set up a new casino site in the lucrative Italian gaming market. In its first Italian venture, Dragonfish will now provide Bwin with both in-house and third party games as part of the company’s Italian casino games offering.
Following the announcement, Managing Director of Dragonfish Gabi Campos said: “The synergy of bwin’s brand presence and our premium casino offering provides a potent combination, and is an ideal way to enter the growing Italian market. ”
“Signing an agreement with such internationally renowned operators shows the quality of the Dragonfish offering and our capability to provide the ideal platform from which to launch a casino offering in newly regulated markets.”
The portfolio of casino games that Dragonfish will now supply to bwin’s casino site include table games, slots, video poker, video slots and other high profile games. Dragonfish’s flexible gaming platform will also allow the company to use bwin own infrastructure while developing the casino games, lobby and user interface.

Since its regulation in 2007, the Italian gaming market has become the biggest in Europe, attracting many of the top gaming companies, such as Microgaming and Microgame. In September 2009, bwin entred the Italian online gambling market for the first time after acquiring Italian poker operator Gioco Digitale, an Italian poker network with over five million players.
