WSOP Champion Joe Cada Signs Deal With Clothing Company "Shodown Couture"

2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada has just signed a sponsorship deal with clothing company Shodown Couture, that will see him promoting the company’s range of poker themed clothing apparel.
Following the announcement of his signing, President and Founder of Shodown Couture Philip Lake said: “The signing is a perfect match with Shodown’s brand image and philosophy. Joe’s style is aggressive, but he is respectful while playing. He intimidates at the tables. He is the face of poker and is extremely talented. He represents what Shodown is about: quality play, bad ass style, and respect for the game.”
The youngest Main Event champion ever will now be showing off some of Shodown Couture’s poker lifestyle garments which, as the company boasts, include their own original artwork and are designed  to enhance a poker player’s mental and physical state. Included in the catalogue of Shodown Couture clothing items are bamboo T-shirts which, it is claimed, will help players cope with high temperatures and relieve the chaffing and sweating associated with cotton clothing.
Poker fans will now be able to glimpse Joe Cada sporting the company’s newest designs at the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) stop in Connecticut starting in April. Joe will also have a hand in inspiring his own personal designs and will be joining a stable of poker pros sponsored by Shodown Couture, which include 2006 WSOP Main Event runner-up Paul Wasicka as well as top online and live talent Mike “Timex” McDonald.
Joe Cada was clearly delighted to be representing the poker clothing company and having finalised the lucrative deal commented: “I’m pumped to be a part of the Shodown Pro Team and really looking forward to helping design my signature series. The guys at Shodown not only understand fashion that appeals to poker players like me, but they are also poker players themselves and grind as hard as we do.”
