Viktor “Isildur1" Blom Wins $2m In Just One Week

Viktor “Isildur1" Blom Wins $2m In Just One WeekAfter hitting a horrendous downswing two months ago, Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom went from being this year’s biggest winner with more than $5 million in online profits, to being barely in the black.
Now, however, the Swedish high stakes online pro has returned to form once again after an incredible past week in which he amassed roughly $2 million, including winning $600,000 on Saturday alone. At the start of his lucrative session, the 22 year-old enjoyed early success at the $500/$1000 CAP NLHE tables, having liberated SanIker of $215,000 of his bankroll in a little under three hours of play.
Over the next eight hours of action, Blom then proceeded to haul in an additional $200,000 playing 2-7 Triple Draw against such competition as  Phil “Polarizing” Ivey, and Gus Hansen, before later adding further to his tally, including picking up $62,000 at an Omaha Eight or Better table.
Overall now, Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom is not only back up to $1,907,838 in profits for 2013 so far, but he is now just -$308,849 down at Full Tilt Poker since first playing on the site back in 2009. Highlighting the volatile nature of his game, however, Blom was actually around $6 million in profit all those years ago and has been on an online poker rollercoaster ever since.
At least Viktor Blom has continued to remain positive throughout the whole experience and last month during his recent sickening downswing, tweeted: “Does anyone know if you can make a living as a mariokart pro? considering my options :)” before later adding; “In some sick way, down swings are good because they force me to try even harder to outrun them. still sick tho :)”
Meanwhile, fellow Full Tilt Professional Gus Hansen also enjoyed a successful weekend and on Saturday booked a respectable $242,400 win playing a combination of Triple Draw and FLO8. Nevertheless, Hansen is still a whopping -$4,260,464 down on the year so far and remains online poker’s biggest ever loser with -$10,671,737 in losses.
