UK Beauty Charlotte Jackson Named New Sky Poker AmbassadorBritish journalist and television presenter Charlotte Jackson has just been named as the new Poker Ambassador to Sky Poker, and will soon be playing poker exclusively on skypoker.com under the screen name “CharlotteJ.” As part of her duties, the 32 year old  will also be making various guest appearances on Sky Poker TV.
The multi-talented lass from Portsmouth in Hampshire has a background as a sportswomen and has been employed as a Sky Sports News presenter since August 2009. In the past, Charlotte played lacrosse and tennis for her county and must have inherited some of her mother’s sport’s genes, who played lacrosse for England. Recently, Charlotte Jackson also appeared in reality television series “Splash,” which follows celebrities learning and competing at diving in front of a panel of judges, and only missed out on a place in the semi-finals after breaking her toe.
However, Jackson’s talents extend far beyond the sports field and as well as sports writing, she has also worked as both a singer and a model. No doubt Charlotte will now combine all her talents to add a touch of glamour to skypoker.com, while her competitive streak will ensure she will be giving it her all at the virtual poker tables.
Following her announcement as the new Sky Poker Ambassador, Charlotte’s fellow Sky Poker presenter, Tony Kendall, sent a greeting to her via Twitter, saying: “A big @Sky_Poker welcome to @CharLouJackson. Let the fun begin!” to which the game lass replied: “@Tony_Kendall I’m ready! Ha.”
Sky Poker focuses primarily on UK poker players, and even screens selected hands from various tourneys and cash games on its Sky Poker TV service, thus allowing players to become the stars of the show.
