Stunning Pro Shannon Elizabeth Joins CarbonPokerHollywood actress and poker pro Shannon Elizabeth has just signed a sponsorship deal with online poker room Carbon Poker. The glamorous 36 year-old stunner of Lebanese origins will now  represent the site at various live and online tournaments, as well as writing a blog to enable fans to keep up with her progress.
Shannon Elizabeth Fadal came to the attention of an army of admirers after appearing in the 1999 hit movie American Pie. Since then, she has gone on to star in a number of successful films, such as Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Thir13en Ghosts. She also enjoys a blossoming modelling career and has been both a Maxim’s cover girl and posed nude for Playboy.
Shannon has also been earning an extra income as a celebrity poker player and has cashed four times at the WSOP, and enjoyed success at several other tournaments since 2006, albeit in a small way. Without a doubt Shannon Elizabeth’s crowning poker glory came in Jun 2007, when she came third at the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship and collected her biggest pay-day to date of $125,000.
More recently, Shannon Elizabeth took part in the World Team Poker Event, where she represented Team Lebanon along with such poker stars as Dany Georges, Freddy Deeb, Joe Awada and Mark Betor.
Carbon Poker recently signalled their aim to make it into the top ten poker sites by next year, and it is hoped the addition of Shannon Elizabeth will help bring them another step closer to their goal. Commenting on their latest signing, Carbon Poker spokesperson Peter Hampton said:
“We’ve been on the hunt for a face for our brand who is recognized star and also a respected member of the poker community. Shannon easily meets both criteria, and offers a creative edge that we’re thrilled to have on board. We’re launching several promotions that will involve players playing against Shannon and getting to know her both inside and outside of poker.”
