Poker Tweets of the Easter Week

Poker Tweets of the Easter WeekHere are a selection of tweets coming from your favorite pros over the past few days, starting with a “Hoppy Easter!!” message from Lacey Jones (photo right) guaranteed to brighten up anyone’s celebrations:
In the meantime, Matt Glantz brought Mike Dentale back into the spot light once more following his recent drumming by Cate Hall. Referring to Dentale, a man who on his twitter page profile states “Most days I’m Bruce Banner and some days I turn into the Hulk”, Glantz tweeted:
“I have seen multiple casino security guards violently dragging out @Mikunbelievable more than once. Where’s the outrage for him? #United.. And that abuse still pales in comparison to the beating he received from Cate. #United”
There’s someone else who also made light of a beating he received recently, as seen from these photos posted by Betrand Grospellier, and as he tweeted:
“This happens when you attempt to make a joke at an HANGRY.. Been focusing on my #recovery, and taking advantage of this forced break to #meditate and count my blessings”
In the end, however, it turns out to have been less of an assault, and more to do with Grospellier having a nose job to fix his deviated septum.
Finally, it would seem 10-times WSOP bracelet winner Doyle Brunson has a hankering to play some events at the upcoming WSOP from 30th May 2017 to 17th July. The 83 year-old’s last bracelet came in 2005 after taking down the $5,000 No Limit Shorthanded Texas Hold’em event for $367,800, and Brunson also enjoyed a good run at the 2013 WSOP Main Event, eventually finishing in 409th for $28,063. However, as Doyle reminds us:
“I’ve got a hankering to play a few tournaments this WSOP. Trouble is, I’ve felt that way every year and then don’t play.#sidegames”
That said, the irrepressible octogenarian poker legend is full of surprises, so with any luck we’ll be treated to another impressive WSOP Doyle run come the summer.
