Phil Ivey Signs With DFS Site Rosters.com

These days, Phil Ivey seems to spend as much time on the business side of the gaming world as he does demolishing his opponents at the green baize. Not only has Ivey started two companies in the past couple of years, namely Ivey Poker (2012) and Ivey League (2014), but the 40 year-old pro has now just signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with a new daily fantasy site called Rosters.com. The DFS website is hosted on the iTEAM Network, and commenting on the new deal its CEO Gabe Hunterton said:
“Phil Ivey is more than just the world’s top poker player, he’s a gaming icon and global brand. Having a daily fantasy site to connect and compete with his fans is a new and exciting way to promote the expanding presence of fantasy sports. We are excited that Phil chose to partner with Rosters.com, as Phil shares our emphasis on strict compliance and regulation in this evolving industry.”
Phil Ivey is one of the most high-profile poker players in the world, having amassed millions of dollars playing both  live and online cash games throughout his illustrious career. The US pro has also won $23,856,034 playing live tournaments since 1998, including capturing 10 coveted WSOP bracelets, with his last bracelet coming in 2014 after taking down Event #50: Eight Game Mix for $166,986.
The new partnership deal between Phil Ivey and Rosters.com will kick-off proper on May 24th, when the “Vegas Dream” DFS series will offer players a chance to win a 2016 WSOP Main Event package worth $15,000, complete with a meet-and-greet in Las Vegas by Phil Ivey himself. Another series called “Beat Phil” will also take place in which players can compete against Ivey in a free contest, with the eventual winner earning a trip to Las Vegas where they will hang out with Phil Ivey, and get to experience first hand his high-rolling lifestyle.
