Natural8 Signs Asian Poker Pros To Its “Team Hot”

Based in the Philippines, the fully licensed online gambling company, Natural8, is fast becoming one of Asia’s most popular internet gaming destinations, with players drawn to the site’s poker product, as well as its casino and integrated sports book.
Building on its growing reputation, this week Natural8 subsequently announced the signing of a number of recognizable poker pros to represent the brand, including Kitty Kuo, Dong Kim, and Xuan Liu. These three players now become founding members of the platform’s “Team Hot” pro team, and will represent Natural8 online and on the live tournament circuit, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
At least two of the names mentioned will be familiar to western poker fans, as Kitty Kuo and Xuan Liu (photos) currently compete in the Global Poker League, with their latest sponsorship deal thus presenting further opportunities for the GPL and Natural8 to expand further into the lucrative Asian market.
The “Team Hot” members will also be showcasing some of their poker skills while streaming live on Twitch.tv., with Kitty Kuo and Xuan Liu already extremely active on the social media front with 17.3k and 6.8k Twitter followers respectively.
In the meantime, Dong Kim is an accomplished high stakes online poker pro, whose is considered one of the world’s best heads-up (HU) players. In fact, in 2015 Dong Kim was chosen alongside Doug Polk, Bjorn Li and Jason Les to take on the AI poker bot called Claudico, with the team eventually beating the machine for a collective $732,713.
Finally, the online gambling company also signed Chinese poker pro and commentator Xiao Chung to its “Friend of Natural8” team, with the player expected to make his first appearance representing the site at the WPT National China festival that gets underway in a few days at the MGM Grand Sanya in Hainan, China.
