Mike Matusow Attacked By Brother Scott

Mike Matusow Attacked By Brother ScottBoth Mike Matusow and his brother Scott (pictured right) are well known for their hot-tempers and often uncompromising attacks on people involved in the poker industry.
For instance, who can forget Mike Matusow’s verbal assault on Phil Ivey this year, when he accused the top pro of being a “cutthroat gambler” and labelled him a “f***ing piece of s**t.”
Apparently, that point was well taken by Scott Matusow, who a few days back posted a link on Mike Matusow’s twitter account entitled “Phil Ivey not paying divorce settlement payments.”
However, the scathing attack on Ivey, in which he also calls him a “total degenerate” and initiates a rumour that “Ivey may be broke,” was not well received by Mike. He subsequently sought to distance himself from his brother’s article and wrote:
“Sorry about the article my crazy brother put out there on ivey its not what i think @ScottMatusow is no longer allowed near my twitter.”
Well, being ticked-off by his brother was like waving a red flag to a bull and so Scott Matusow then proceeded to make Mike the centre of his latest tirade.
Mike Matusow is a 3 times WSOP winner, currently at 27th on poker’s ‘All Time Money List’ with $7,828,911 in winnings. However, Scott said he is now sick of his brother’s “disrespect” and what he considers Mike’s “horrid betrayal” of his own family and consistent belittling of his “own blood” in preference to taking “the side of strangers.”
He then goes on to accuse Mike of lacking “personal responsibility” and highlights his brother’s total disrespect for their parents, calling Mike “a total douche bag” towards his entire family. He even goes so far to explain Mike’s recent run of bad luck at poker as “deserved karma for his actions towards his own family, before stating:
“It is not my fault or anyone else’s that you hate yourself and you are miserable because of, in my opinion, a severe gambling addiction on top of your addiction to legal drugs.”
The full, unabridged version of Scott Matusow’s rant against his brother can be found here. In the meantime, the expression “Don’t wash your dirty laundry in public” springs to mind.
