Martin Balaz To Play 40,000 SNG's In 30 Days

Martin Balaz To Play 40,000 SNG's In 30 DaysLast year, Czech pro Martin “phasE89” Balaz won a prop bet after playing 24,000 Fifty50 SnG’s inside a month at a profit of $2,898. However, the 22 year-old pro is now ready to take things to a whole new level after announcing his latest challenge which involves playing 40,000 hyperturbo 6-Max SNG’s over a 30 day period.
“I need to be profitable pre-rakeback and I have to play only $30-plus stakes..it will probably take about 400-plus hours..the edge in these is significantly lower, many regs are claiming that the games are already deader then dead. I want to prove myself that I can make really insane prop bets and be profitable in any game I want,” stated the 2011 PokerStars Supernova Elite.
This time around, Martin Balaz is offering odds of 1 to 2.5, and said he was willing to take bets of up to $20,000 with a potential $50,000 payoff for any would be bettor.
An additional incentive for Balaz to attempt the challenge is that he is looking to put in some big volume online and achieve Super Nova Elite status as early as possible for 2012.
Martin Balaz’s quest is set to start on June 15th, and in order to give himself the best chance of success the young pro said he will rent a villa with his girlfriend in order to better concentrate without outside distractions. He is then anticipating getting up at 1pm and playing up to  five hour sessions at a time until 5am when he will go to bed.
Poker fans will be able to see his attempt live via a webcam, with Balaz stating: “I need to prove to bettors that I am playing by myself the whole time, that is the main reason I am allowing railbirds to watch me. Also..I can’t get bored while I am chatting with railbirds, it keeps me busy.”
