Louise Butler Recruited to Team Partypoker LadiesLouise Butler has joined partypoker as a sponsored pro, with announcement of the Irish pro’s appointment having been announced via the site’s official blog. Butler now becomes a member of Team partypoker Ladies, whose roster also includes the likes of Beata Jambrik, Natalia Breviglieri, and Kristen Bicknell.
In September, the innovative ladies only concept was initially launched in order to afford female poker players the opportunity to compete and socialize with other like-minded women from all around the world. Commenting upon her new role at the site, Butler stated:
“I’m so excited to be a part of the partypoker team. I love the direction the company is going and I can’t wait to get involved in the creation of a regular schedule of events online for ladies.”
Louise Butler specializes in playing online tournaments, and has managed to amass an impressive $305k in earnings, including more than $180k at PokerStars, and a further $27,308 playing at partypoker under the screen name “lou045”.
In fact, Butler is currently ranked Ireland’s number one MTT player with 3,094 cashes to her credit, withn her biggest score to date coming just a few weeks ago after making her way through a field of 4,902 players at the PokerStars Big $11 to claim a top prize of $6,281.
In the meantime, Butler has recorded just two live tournament cashes, both of which occurred this year. However, she will have plenty of opportunities to add to that total as she recently won a $109 satellites through to the Caribbean Poker Party, which will take place from November 19th-25th at The Level at Meliá Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana. The $12,000 package Butler won will provide her with a chance to grab a slice of the festival’ $10 million guaranteed prize pool, including its $5 million guaranteed Main Event.
