Joe Serock Signs With Team RunGood For 2013 WSOP

Joe Serock Signs With Team RunGood For 2013 WSOPOklahoma-based poker apparel company, RunGoodGear, has just announced the addition of former WPT Player of the Year Joe Serock to its roster of sponsored pros. Joe Serock will now represent the site at the 2013 WSOP which gets underway later today, with the marathon series providing an ideal setting in which to showcase RunGoodGear.com’s array of stylish and comfortable clothing during the players’ daily grind.
Other members of the talented Team RunGood Pro roster, includes AP Phahurat, Lauren Kling, Jamie Kerstetter, Brent Hanks and Rob Salaburu. Commenting on their latest signing, President of RunGoodGear, Tana Karn, said: “The RunGood HQ is pumped on having Joe represent the RunGood brand during the world’s biggest stage of poker. With this pick up I think the company has to be running pretty pure.”
Over the years, Joe Serock has been carving out a healthy living for himself playing poker online, and has amassed $1,654,065 in winnings under the screen name Leemur. In addition, Serock has notched-up a further $2,017,790 in the live arena, with his biggest live score coming in 2009 at the WSOP $2,500 NLHE Six Handed event, in which he finished the runner-up for $341,783.  Overall, Joe Serock has won $695,155 from competing at the WSOP, and although he has yet to win an event, few would bet against him walking away with a coveted bracelet this year.
Describing his playing style, Joe Serock explained; “I’m not sure what my style is, as I’m sure people’s opinions of it are all over the place. I decide how I play based on how the others at the table are playing. I model my game after high-stakes online cash game players, but play less hands because I’m not as good. So, I guess I’m like a lazy Phil Galfond.”
