Isildur1 Now Playing As "Grolongo" At PokerStars

If the rumours are true, then it would appear that Swedish pro Viktor Blom aka Isildur1, has been playing at PokerStars recently under the name “Grolongo”.
According to Patrik Antonius, everyone’s favourite maniac Isildur1 built a bankroll from $2,000 to $1.4 million over 10 months in 2009 before hitting Full Tilt Poker’s felts in September.
There, he proceeded to turn a profit of $6 million by November before giving it all back and then some by December. His highstakesdb stats indicate he finished down almost $2.5 million overall on the site.
Now it would appear that Isildur1 has resurfaced again, this time at PokerStars playing $25/$50 and $50/$100 No-Limit Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha under the screen name of “Grolongo”.
Both men are known as hyper-aggressive high stakes players from Gotenberg, Sweden, who enjoy playing deep stacked over multiple tables of either PLO or No Limit Hold’em.
Adding further credence to the speculation is the fact that Viktor Blom signed up for the 2010 EPT Grand Final in Monaco via PokerStars and that “Grolongo” was listed as the only Swedish player to sign up for the tournament through Pokerstars.
Grolongo’s stats at PokerStars would also match the wild swings Isildur1 fans have gotten used to seeing while he was at Full Tilt.
Although currently down -$46,784 over 20,613 hands on the site, Grolongo was up $67,267 at one stage and has enjoyed a winning day of $86,549, as well as a losing one of -$99,360.
One thing for certain is that the online forums seem convinced he is the right man and we will endeavour to keep you updated for any further Isildur1/Grolongo cash game major developments as they occur.
