French Starlet Patty ‘BabyTes’ Beaumier Joins Team PKR Pro

French Starlet Patty ‘BabyTes’ Beaumier Joins Team PKR ProUK-based online poker site PKR has just announced that small-stakes cash grinder Patty Beaumier has just been added to its roster of sponsored pros.
The 24-year old earned a Masters in law from the Sorbonne, and is currently studying for a second Masters degree at the Graduate School of Journalism in Paris. Nevertheless, poker still remains a passion of Patty’s ever since first playing on PKR back in 2011. Over the past few years, Patty Beaumier has also proven to be a consistent winner at the game, too, albeit at the lower stakes, and she will now have the opportunity to take her game to the next level having been chosen to represent the site’s French poker room.
Commenting on its new recruit, PKR CEO Malcolm Graham, said: “Our sponsorship approach has largely been to unearth and support talent from our players’ ranks, and it’s important that those with potential at the lower stakes get the chance to shine.”
Patty ‘BabyTes’ Beaumier now joins a number of other noted pros at Team PKR Pro, including the likes of Vladimir ‘Beyne‘ Geshkenbein, Sofia ‘welllbet’ Lovgren, Scott Shelley, Simon ‘Rhymenoceros’ Hemsworth, and Marc ‘Waswini’ Bariller.
“BabyTes” can subsequently be seen in action at a number of live tournaments across Europe, including the World Series of Poker Europe, which starts on October 11th. In November she will then represent Team PKR Pro at PKR Live in London, followed by a series of live tournaments across France in 2014.
When asked what becoming a new Team PKR Pro meant to her, Beaumier replied: “I didn’t dare to believe it when I was asked to join the Team. I think it will only sink in when I hear the floor say “shuffle up and deal” at my first live event in the colours of PKR.”
