Canadian Poker Tour Welcomes Texan Beauty Lacey Jones

Canadian Poker Tour Welcomes Texan Beauty Lacey Jones The Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) has just got a lot more attractive after it was announced Lacey Jones was set to join the tour. Not only will Lacey’s addition bring some much needed glamour to the CPT but it is hoped her participation will encourage more women to take part in the tournaments, which have seen a decline in female participants over the last few years.
Following the news of her appointment, CPT President Kelly Kellner said: “Here is a girl that loves hockey, loves Canadian beer and is an amazing poker player to top it off. We believe that by having Lacey attend many of our events and the fact that she is about to move to Vancouver, the partnership couldn’t be stronger.”
The Texan born beauty has a degree in Political Science / French and after graduating she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in modeling. Even now Lacey still undertakes many lucrative modeling contracts and has worked for several top clients such as Carolina Herrera, Max and Co, and Playboy Leather Collection.
In fact, Lacey got her first break in the poker industry after she was hired as a model to play in an ESPN tournament. She performed much better than expected, finishing 32nd out of 360 players and was then spotted by Absolute Poker who hired her to represent them at various tournaments, after organising poker lessons from Poker Pro Mark Seif.
Since moving on from Absolute Poker in 2007, Lacey Jones has become an experienced poker TV hostess having worked at such venues as the World Series of Poker, U.S. Poker Bowl, and the Borgata Poker Open.
Lacey Jones is now looking forward to representing and promoting her new sponsors and said; “I truly love Canadians and am so happy to be a part of the Canadian Poker Tour.” She can be seen in action on the 24th February at the Cash Casino in Calgary, where she will make her first CPT sponsored tournament appearance.
