Canadian Poker Babe Gillian Epp Signs With Bet24

Online poker operator Bet24 has just announced the signing of Canadian babe Gillian Epp to their stable of pros. Speaking about her latest deal with the Scandinavian company, the 27 year-old commented:
“Im very excited to have found a sponsor who believes in me and my skills. Bet24 has proven to be a great home for me and I hope that other Canadian players will have a closer look at Bet24.com and join me at the tables.”
Gillian Epp is a prolific cash game player, who at 19 years of age started out as a poker dealer before countless hours studying the game and its players, allowed her to quit dealing and embark on a new career as a poker professional.
Initially, grinding mid-stake cash games in Vancouver, two years is all it took for Gillian Epp to then progress to the nose bleed stakes in Las Vegas. There she continued her winning ways and is now considered a fierce competitor by her peers, as well as one of the fastest-rising female talents in the game. Giving an insight into her competitive and focused nature, Gillian Epp explains:
“Playing against the best players raises your own level of play. I learn the most when I am put in challenging situations, the way I am against really good players.”
Usually preferring to play 15 hours or so of live cash games per week, amazingly it wasn’t until the end of 2010 that Gillian played in her first poker tournament. Previously, Gillian’s main interest in tournaments involved following “the circuit to play big side action and prey on tilted knockout fish.”
Recently, however, Gillian has started trying to master tournaments and online play, something she will now get plenty of practice of at Bet24
