RealDealPoker.com To Use Real Decks For A Fairer Online Poker Experience
December 2, 2009 10:34 amAll those players who lose a pot, and then complain about the fairness of the card shuffling system used by online poker sites, may soon be running out of excuses following the announcement of a new poker site to start operating inFebruary next year.
Gioia International Limited has teamed up with Red Planet Gaming Inc to launch RealDealPoker.com, which aims to use the newly developed ‘Deck Matrix system’ to record the results of a real life scrambled and shuffled deck of cards, which is then relayed to the game table.
The player with the dealer button “must” then exercise a Cut/No Cut option prior to the start of the game which provides a “reshuffle” of the deck and assures that the “players” actually determine the result of every game.
The system currently at use at most poker sites is a RGN (Random Number Generator) formula which produces random numbers which are then translated into random cards. However, RealDealPoker.com revolutionary new system aims to produce a more random spread of cards and eliminate the security risks posed by bots and hackers trying to determine the RGN. The CEO and founder of Gioia International Limited, Gene Gioia commented:
“This is a unique moment in the company’s history. In addition to assembling a first rate management team, we have found in Red Planet Gaming Inc a partner who shares our passion for bringing a truly fair game of poker to players around the world and changing the face of poker online as we know it today.”
CEO of Red Planet Gaming Inc Vahe Baloulian, echoed his colleagues sentiment and said: “I have never seen someone as committed as Gene Gioia to bringing a truly remarkable product to the market. His passion and understanding of what poker is about has resulted in a product that will make the poker world sit up and take note. I am delighted that Red Planet Gaming is partnering Gioia International Limited in this unique venture.”
The RealDealPoker.com website will launch next year, but in the meantime players are able to sign up to the site and reserve their user names.
