Full Tilt Poker And Virgin Racing In Sponsorship Deal
May 7, 2010 9:33 amAs Formula 1’s European season gets ready to kick-off this weekend in Spain, team Virgin Racing, whose title sponsor is Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, have just announced a new partnership deal with leading poker website Full Tilt Poker.
Full Tilt Poker expressed an interest in sponsoring Virgin Racing ever since the team was launched on 15 December 2009. Having finally concluded the deal, the poker site will now enjoy significant branding of its logo on the team’s VR-01 car, driver’s and team apparel, as well as other elements of the team’s on and off track environment.
Commenting on the new deal, Team Full Tilt’s Chris Ferguson said: “With two leaders in their respective fields coming together, this is sure to be a groundbreaking partnership on the global canvas, providing yet another level of excitement for all fans. We are very excited to be associated with such a stellar brand as Virgin Racing and we look forward to launching this partnership in Spain.”
At the upcoming Grand Prix at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya, the Full Tilt Poker logo will be sported by drivers Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi, and Virgin Racing’s Chief Executive Officer Graeme Lowdon, couldn’t be happier with the arrangement.

After Spain, the next stop on the F1 circuit will be Monte Carlo, Monaco on the 13th to 16th May, followed by Istanbul, Turkey starting May 28th.
