XL Spring Series coming to 888poker

The folks at 888poker have added another series to their event list, with the XL Spring Series set the debut at the end of May.
The XL Spring Series is scheduled to run from May 30 to June 6 with 25 events. The schedule really includes something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $320. [ Sign up now ]
When does XL Spring Series begin?
The series gets underway on May 30 with four events on the schedule. The first event is the $50,000 Opening Event. It has a $55 buy-in and, as you can tell by the name, a $50,00 guaranteed prize pool.
There are three other opening events on the schedule for May 30 including the $25,000 Mini Opening with a $16.50 buy-in, the $10,000 Micro Opening with a $5.50 buy-in and the $15,000 Late Opening with a $33 buy-in.
Every other day on the XL Spring Series schedule has three events that all follow the same theme. For example, on May 31 there are three R&A events, on June 1 there are three High Roller events, on June 4 there are three DeepStack events, and on June 5 there are three 6-Max events
Let’s return back to High Roller day on June 1. It begins with the $50,000 High Roller which has the largest buy-in in the series at $320. That’s followed by the $25,000 Mini Roller with a $55 buy-in and the $20,000 Late High Roller with a $109 buy-in.
The XL Spring Series concludes on June 6 with three Main Event tournaments. The most affordable main event is the $15,000 Micro Main Event with a cheap $5.50 buy-in. In the middle is the $50,000 Mini Main Event with a $33 buy-in. The big one, the XL Spring Series Main Event has a $500,000 guarantee and a $250 buy-in.
If you don’t have $250 to spare there are other ways to earn a seat in the Main Event. There are several satellite qualifiers for the Main Event running at 888poker with buy-ins as low as a couple bucks. 888poker is also giving away free tickets to XL Spring Series events through special gift drops.
