XL Inferno Poker Series coming to 888poker in May

They’re turning up the heat at 888poker in May with the launch of the XL Inferno Poker Series.

The series will run for 11 days at 888poker and include 34 events from May 14 to 24. The 34 events on the schedule will have a combined $1.5 million in guaranteed money. The majority of the events on the XL Inferno schedule will be Texas Holdem tournaments which numerous variations including 6-max, 8-max, R&A, High Roller and Deepstacks tourneys.

On the opening day of the series, May 14, there are three events on the schedule with varying buy-ins to fit multiple poker budgets. The first event of the series is the $75,000 Opening Event with a $109 buy-in. Also on the Day 1 schedule is a $35,000 Mini Opening Event with a $16.50 buy-in and a $20,000 Late Opening Event with a $55 buy-in.

For poker pros there are three high roller tournaments running on May 19. The cheapest high roller tournament has a $55 buy-in with a $30,000 guarantee. The big high roller has a $100,000 guarantee with a $320 buy-in, while the Late High Roller has a $20,000 guarantee and a $109 buy-in.

Concluding the series are three main events on the final day, Sunday, May 24. The cheapest main event is the $20,000 Micro Main event which only costs $5.5. The $50,000 Mini Main event is a little more expensive at $33. The big one, the $500,000 Main Event will cost $250 to buy-in.

If you don’t have $250 in your bankroll you’re not necessarily excluded from the Main Event. There are satellite qualifiers running daily until May 23 with the buy-in starting as low as 10 cents.

If you make a deposit into your 888poker account between now and May 23 you’ll receive free entry into a XL Inferno Main Event qualifier. These special qualifiers are running daily at 5:30 p.m. GMT with five seats available in the Main event.
