XL Autumn Series coming to 888poker

With the weather starting to get colder and the leaves changing color its time for the XL Autumn Series at 888poker.
The Autumn Series is composed of 44 events and runs from October 17 to November 1. There’s a little something for everyone on the schedule with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $1,050. There is also a ton of poker variety with the schedule including PKO tournaments, Freezeout tournaments, Deepstack tournaments, 6-Max tournaments, and Omaha 8-Max tournaments.
How Does XL Autumn Series work at 888?
The series begins on October 17 with three no-limit hold’em events. First up is the $100,000 Opening Event which has a $55 buy-in and of course a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Starting up at the same time is $20,000 Mini Opening Event with a more affordable $16.50 buy-in. The action on Day 1 concludes with the $15,000 Late Opening Event. It has a $33 buy-in.
If you’re a high roller the first date to book off on your calendar is Tuesday, October 26. That’s the date of the $50,000 PKO tournament. It has a $320 buy-in which is the second largest buy-in in the series. Also on the schedule that day, for players with a smaller budget are the $25,000 Mini PKO tournament with a $55 buy-in and the $20,000 Late PKO tournament with a $109 buy-in.
There are two main events on the Autumn Series schedule, with very different prize pools and buy-ins. The Mini Main Event is scheduled for Halloween night on Sunday, October 31. It has a $33 buy-in and a $50,000 guarantee.
The big one, the XL Autumn Series Main Event is on Monday, November 1. It has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and a $1,050 buy-in. You don’t have to wait until November 1 to take a shot at the Main Event. It has multiple Day 1 starting flights which have already begun at 888poker. These Day 1 starting flights continue daily until November 1 when all remaining players will advance to Day 2 and play down until a champion is crowned.
