PokerStars United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour – UKIPT

PokerStars has released the details of the first ever United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) which is going to get underway in December in Galway.  The tour will be making stops in Scotland, Ireland and England and will finish at the Metropole Hotel.

The first event is going to be the Irish Poker Championships in Galway and PokerStars announced that the 1st UKIPT tournament will have a €2,000 buy in and starts on December 11th through the 14th at the Radisson Hotel.

PokerStars is unsure yet where the venue will be in Scotland that will host the next event but then the tour stops in Dublin at the Burlington Hotel for the €1,100 tournament from September 9th through the 12th.

The Grand Final will be held in London from October 2nd though the 8th and will have a £5,300 buyin .  In all players can look forward to a total guaranteed prize pool of £100,000 for the Manchester, Coventry and Nottingham events.

The Killarney and Dublin tournaments will have a €250,000 guaranteed prizee pool for their events and the winner from each stop will also win a seat into the Grand Final in London.
