Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, a Team PokerStars Pro won the Main Event in 2008 and said, “The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is definitely one of my favorite tournaments of the year. This is where I had my first and biggest win to date, in the 2008 PCA Main Event. Last year, I had another memorable success, when I won the High Roller event. I love going to the Bahamas for the PCA! The location and the organization are great, and I believe the competition is probably the toughest you can find in any live tournament, with all the internet pros and the best live players. I am really looking forward to playing the 2010 PCA!”
Poker variations that will be seen at this year’s PCA include; No Limit and Pot Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha 8 Hi/Lo and Badugi 2/7 Triple Draw. The PokerStars World Cup of Poker VI will also be featured in the line up. The nine countries from the global online preliminaries will get to battle it out on the live Grand Final for bragging rights and a share of $100,000 dollar first place prize.
This year participants can play in large variety of events, there are buy-ins for almost every budget starting at $200 dollars up to $25,000 dollars. There are going to be full ring, short handed and heads up events in the schedule.
