Party Poker World Open V Starts Today

Party Poker has confirmed more celebrities will be in attendance at the Party Poker World Open V.  The event is set to take place on Sunday, October 11th and run until Thursday, October 15th in Mayfair, London at the Palm Beach Casino.
There are a few major changes in this year’s event starting with a new location.  Players will start out with three times more chips then last year and now there will be eight seats in the heats and only seven players at the final table.
In all 48 players bought into the Party Poker World Open V for $10,000 dollars to create the $480,000 dollar prize pool.  The first place winner will take home $250,000 dollars at the event.
Some of the confirmed players include; JP Kelly, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Layne Flack, Andrew Feldman, Roland De Wolfe, Sammy George, Teddy Sheringham, Bruno Fitoussi and Paul Zimbler.
Also at the event are 10 players that qualified to play in the tournament by winning one of 10 prize packages valued at $13,000 dollars.  The prize package includes the buyin for the event, seven nights accommodation and $1,000 dollars in spending money.
