The Hendon Mob Gets New Look And Added Features

The Hendon Mob Gets New Look And Added FeaturesThe most comprehensive live poker tournament database in the world, The Hendon Mob, has just undergone a site redesign with its traditional signature black design having now been replaced by a new classic white background. In addition, the site is sporting a new logo, while more information and categories of data are also available, including “Tournament Spotlights,” “Hendon Mob Features” and “Most Viewed Players.”
In July 2013, The Hendon Mob’s website was acquired by Zokay Entertainment, the parent company of the Global Poker Index (GPI), and commenting on the site’s new look Alex Dreyfus, Zokay founder and GPI CEO, explained:
“The revamp is just the facelift before big changes. Our goal is to expose every player and help them to be ranked and brag. The Hendon Mob and GPI have 15 people dedicated to the operations of the data behind these companies. We believe it is a significant investment that will allow the poker community to attract more coverage.”
Before Black Friday, The Hendon Mob was Full Tilt Poker’s biggest affiliate and its four founding members Joe Beevers, Barny Boatman, Ross Boatman, and Ram Vaswani, were all Full Tilt Red Pros. The two companies relationship was then ended following the Full Tilt Poker debacle, but now it seems that The Hendon Mob can once more count on Full Tilt to help fund and support the site.
Importantly, the redesign will also allows for more prominent ad placement, especially by Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, and as Alex Dreyfus commented: “Seeing Full Tilt working with The Hendon Mob again is part of the revival of the FTP brand that has taken place over the last year. Our players will once again enjoy playing on Full Tilt and can profit from the promotions on PokerStars too.”
