The Bodog Poker Open IV is over and business is back to normal at Bodog Poker. The Sunday $100,000 dollar Guaranteed was back on the schedule on Sunday, November 15th.
Bodog wanted to get the news out on their $100K GTD so they did quite a bit of marketing recently to get the word out about the tournament. While marketing the tournament did help it wasn’t enough to meet the guarantee.
The prize pool still fell short of the guarantee by $22,750 dollars and Bodog had to pick up the tab to make the guarantee. In the recent past Bodog has seen overlays of $30,000 dollars and higher so the numbers are improving but since this is one of the more valuable tourneys on Sunday the numbers should be better.
Yesterday’s GTD had 515 players and first place took home $25,000 dollars so it’s not a bad investment. You can play in qualifiers to win your seat at the next Sunday $100K GTD. If you’re not a member yet you can get a bonus when you register with Bodog Poker.
