How does BetOnline King of the Ring Series work?
All of the events in the series are PKO tournaments with half of your buy-in going to the prize pool and the other half going on your head as a bounty. The more players you knock out along the way the more bounties, and money, you’ll collect.
There are more than bounties on the line for Knockouts during the series. Each KO you record in a specific level earns you points in the Series leaderboard. The more points you collect the more bonus money you’ll cash on the leaderboard. The leader boards are divided as follows:
$500 Featherweight ($0- $4.99 buy-ins)
$2,000 Lightweight ($5-$19.99 buy-ins)
$3,000 Middleweight ($20-$99.99 buy-ins)
$4,500 Heavyweight ($100+ buy-ins)
The top prize on each leaderboard includes $45 for featherweight, $150 for lightweight, $280 for middleweight and $450 for heavyweight. The top 35 players on each leaderboard will receive some prize money.
Each weight class has a series main event scheduled for Sunday March 6. The cheapest main event is the featherweight main event which has a $2.20 buy-in and a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool. That’s followed by the lightweight main event with a $11 buy-in and $25,00 guarantee, and the middleweight main event with a $55 buy-in and a $75,000 guarantee. The most expensive main event is the heavyweight main event with a $215 buy-in and a $100,000 guarantee.
At the end of the King of the Ring Series there’s one more special tournament scheduled for Sunday, March 13 reserved for the winner of each leaderboard. The $1,000 King of the Ring Title event will see the Top 3 finishers get paid. The winner will get $500, second place $300, and third place $200.
