888 poker launches new poker app

Following months of testing and trials 888poker has finally widely released their long-awaited updated poker app.

Available for iOS and Android devices the 888poker app delivers a ton of new features that greatly improve gameplay on mobile devices. One of the major highlights for poker players will be the new multi-table option. One of the biggest letdowns for most online poker apps is the lack of multi-tabling.

To try and get a leg-up 888poker’s new app has a multi-table option that allows you to play at up to four tables at once. It may still pale in comparison to the dozen tables you can run on your desktop but it’s a strong start and being able to swipe back-and-forth on your multiple tables is pretty seamless.

What are features of new 888 Poker app?

The app also comes with several new customizable options that allow you to setup your gameplay exactly the way you want it. You can click on four-color decks, auto rebuys and add-ons, and setup your go-to emojis so you have easy access to comment on other players. The emoji access is more important then it seems because the app does not include an in-game chat option.

The app now lets players play vertically on their mobile device in portrait mode. The lobby, the menus and the poker tables are all available to be viewed and played vertically. This allows for one-handed play on your mobile device.

Speaking of the lobby, that has been completely transformed as well. The slick new design and layout makes it extremely easy to navigate and find the cash games or tournament you’re looking for. New added filters allow users to more accurately and quickly pinpoint the game, tournament, stake or special series they want to play.

888poker has also enhanced their throwables feature on the app. This feature allows players to virtually throw special objects at their opponents. These include tomatoes, eggs, snowballs, and trophies. The next time you suffer a bad beat or fall victim to a bluff you can let out your frustration on your opponent with a throwable.
