Mega Moolah Slots Jackpot Hit For €6.9 Million

The Microgaming network is well-known for offering the biggest progressive slots jackpots in the whole of the online gambling industry, with its Mega Moolah slots contributing significantly to the network’s reputation. The amounts won from the slots product are usually above the €1 million mark, but recently one lucky punter far exceeded usual expectations by taking home an incredible €6,905,670.
On Friday, April 8th, the life-changing win took place after a Spin Palace customer logged into the gambling site to play the hugely popular Mega Moolah slot game. Before long, the computer screen was filled with lights and sounds indicating that a jackpot had been struck, but nothing could have prepared the lucky punter for the extent of their huge win. Any disbelief by the anonymous player was subsequently dispelled, though, after a Spin Palace representative contacted and congratulated him/her, later commenting:
“It is always an incredible feeling to have one of our players become an instant millionaire. On behalf of everyone at Spin Palace, a massive congratulations to our winning player on their near €7 million fortune.”
In October 2015, UK player Jonathon Heywood set the record for the biggest progressive jackpot ever won after winning an astounding €17,879,645 (£13,213,838) while playing the Mega Moolah slots on the Microgaming network. The network first offered a slots progressive jackpot back in 1998, making it the longest-running network to do so, and over the past eighteen years has paid out more than €574 million to numerous lucky players. Commenting on the networks latest winner, John Quinn, Head of Casino at Microgaming, stated:
“It’s not long since we were celebrating our historic and record-breaking win. To be able to crown another millionaire so soon after is brilliant – congratulations to the lucky Spin Palace player.”
