World Series of Poker Bahamas in December
September 12, 2023 5:54 pmThe World Series of Poker is heading to the Bahamas in December for the inaugural World Series of Poker Paradise Festival.
The WSOP Paradise will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas from December 3-14. The official schedule was released earlier this week and it features 15 WSOP bracelet events with more than $50 million in guaranteed prize money to be won.
“It’s official, WSOP Paradise is set to deliver an unforgettable new winter series with our jam-packed schedule,” said Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the World Series of Poker. “We can’t wait for cards to be in the air in paradise this December, and we look forward to crowning our first Main Event champion at Atlantis Paradise Island.”
The WSOP Paradise will kickoff on December 3 with the Mystery Millions. This no-limit hold’em tournament will have a $1,500 buy-in and a $5 million guaranteed prize pool.
The largest buy-in during WSOP Paradise can be found on December 9 in the Ultra High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event. It has a huge $100,000 buy-in with a $5 million guarantee. There’s also a High Rollers Championship on December 5 with a smaller $25,000 buy-in and a larger $10 million guarantee.
For the Omaha fans there are a few Omaha events on the WSOP Paradise schedule. First up on December 7 is the High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event with a $25,000 buy-in and a $2 million guarantee. Later on the schedule on December 13 is the Pot-Limit Omaha Championship with a $10,000 buy-in and a $1 million guarantee.
The WSOP Paradise Main Event begins on December 9. This No-Limit Hold’em championship has a manageable $5,000 buy-in and a huge $15 million guarantee.
