PokerStars Employee Warns Of Doomsday Scenario

PokerStars Employee Warns Of Doomsday ScenarioEvery 2,000 years or so, Precession of the Equinoxes means we shift from one age to another and although the exact dates are difficult to calculate, the 21 December 2012 is seen by many as a possible start to the new age when we move from the Age of Pisces to that of Aquarius.
Although to scientists this is simply a repetitive astronomical process, to astrologers it holds all sorts of mystical significance. One such person happens to be a PokeStars employee who recently went into a pseudo-religiously induced mania and decided to warn some of the site’s customers ahead of the “great” day.
According to the e-mails he dispatched from PokerStars.eu’s mail servers we should now prepare for three days of darkness starting December 21st during which even “electrical or metallic objects will [not] work.” The good news, however, is that normal service will return on Chrismas Day when the new Age of Aquarius apparently begins.
As the e-mail explains: “December 21st is the final day of our age – The Age of Pisces, on this date you should celebrate and show thanks for the life you’ve been given. On December 22nd the Sun will not rise. A Cosmic/Electrical Storm will engulf the Earth. No Electrical or metallic objects will work. The Darkness and the Storm will last for three days, the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of December.”
Needless to say, PokerStars was not happy with their employee spamming a number of its customers and soon after issued a public apology and promised tighter controls on its emailing practices.
Meanwhile, online forum posters have been weighing in with their opinions on the subject. Many were concerned with potential security risks to their sensitive personal data, while other took a lighter approach with one TwoPlusTwo forum poster commenting:
“Will there be Double VPP days to make up for the three days we’re going to lose to the Darkness?”
