PokerStars 80 Billionth Hand Nets Funex700 $22,940

PokerStars launched real money play back in December, 2001, and a little over ten years later the poker room has dealt its 80 billionth hand which was celebrated as part of its ongoing 100 billionth milestone hand promotion.
The winner of the hand was Spanish player funex700 who was sitting at a 10c/25c no-limit hold’em table of nine, when a pop-up announcement suddenly congratulated the lucky players of being dealt into the 80 billionth hand. The players also held a rag-tag assortment of cards from 7-2 to A-8, but in the end it was funex700 who hit runner-runner to clean up on the Q-4-10-A-5 board.
Consequently, Spanish player funex700 picked-up $22,940 for his incredible win, while all the other players received at least $10,000 a piece just for being at the right place at the right time.
