PKR Named Top Poker Operator of 2010

This week, next-generation poker site PKR has been celebrating a major achievement having beaten competition from such sites as PartyPoker and William Hill to be named the EGR Poker Operator of the Year.
The E-Gaming Review Awards took place on 24th November 2010 in London and saw over 800 gaming industry people attend the annual event orgainsed to acknowledge the  achievements of the gaming industry.
Amongst the long list of prestigious awards handed out on the night was the title of Poker Operator of the Year. In 2009, the title went to Party Gaming but this year PKR were held up as the shining example of a highly original and innovative poker site.
PKR have gone from strength to strength since it was founded in 2004 and the company now has over 100 employees and more than 4 million registered users. PKR is a unique poker experience and feels more like a video game, with many more fun ways to interact with your opponents than other sites.
Despite being dismissed as a novelty at the time, PKR has since become one of the fastest growing online poker rooms in the world and has been honoured with a whole variety of awards recently, including 2010 IGA ‘Poker Operator of the Year’ and 2010 Sunday Times Tech Track 100 for being the UK’s fastest growing technology company.
Commenting on PKR’s impressive success CEO Malcolm Graham said;

Other company’s also honoured at this year’s E-Gaming Review Awards, included PartyGaming for Slots operator,  888 for Socially responsible operator,  PokerStrategy.com for Gaming community site of the year, Bet365 for Casino operator and Bwin for Outstanding contribution to the industry.
