PartyPoker Signs Spanish F1 Ace Jaime Alguersuari

PartyPoker.com have continued their sponsorship bonanza by announcing the signing of Spanish racing driver Jaime Alguersuari, who will now join fellow F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella on the Team Party roster.
PartyPoker is a relative new comer to sponsoring pros but has since made up for lost time by recently adding a host of stars to the site, including Francesco Totti, Dragan Galic, Mike Sexton, Kara Scott, Tony G, Ian Frazer, Felipe “Mojave” Ramos, Bodo Sbrzesny and Remy Biechel.
Now the 20 year old Jaime Alguersuari, who became the youngest Formula One driver in history at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix, will take his place amongst his fellow celebrities and represent the PartyPoker brand at upcoming exclusive tournaments and promotions.
Already lined up for fans is the chance to win tickets to the Valencia Grand Prix on June 27th, as well as the opportunity to meet Alguersuari as he competes at the WPT Barcelona starting May 17th.
Jaime Alguersuari has entered 136 races throughout his career and won 18 of them, making the podium 38 times. He won the British Formula Three championship in 2008 and made his F1 debut in 2009, where he now competes as part of team Toro Rosso.
Commenting on his new ambassodorial role, a clearly delighted Jaime Alguersuari said:
“Some say that I am a novice in F1 and I would say the same about poker. I have loved the game from afar but with all my driving commitments, I have a lot to learn…The popularity of poker in Spain is on the rise and I cannot wait to be part of it and improve my skills at the table by playing online. Poker is so popular amongst the F1 drivers at the moment, by becoming an ambassador for PartyPoker.com I aim to be the best of them all!”
