Micro Player Wins $26,300 With PokerStars 85th Billionth Hand

Micro Player Wins $26,300 With PokerStars 85th Billionth Hand A micro stakes player has received a stellar boost to his bankroll after hitting the PokerStars milestone 85th billionth hand for $26,300.
Over a quarter of a million people were playing on the site on Monday afternoon, when six players at a 2c/5c no-limit hold’em table suddenly saw a message pop-up informing them of their good fortune. While the hand was set-up giving enough time for railbirds to flock to the action, the players’ excitement mounted, as they typed their reactions in the comment box as follows:
volkmar1961: “ty”
s3x0r: “i <3 PS”
exxu: “i heart pokerstars”
Posonap: “TY POKERSTARS”
Kostas poker: “PS is the best”
Kostas poker: “thanks for promo”
Kostas poker: “lets try to win!”
exxu: “ONE TIME!”
Kostas poker: “one time baby!”
As is standard in these situations, when the hand was ready to play all the players moved all-in preflop to create a pot totaling $50.23. However, bigger prizes were at stake and after the board fell 7-3-K-J-8, Russian player “som6873” holding K-4 was fortunate enough to take down the milestone hand worth $26,300.
Nevertheless, it was celebrations all round as each of the remaining micro grinders split $66,700 between them, with the final tally as follows:
som6873 — $26,300
exxu — $14,280
Kostas poker — $13,680
volkmar1961 –$13,430
Posonap — $13,310
s3x0r — $12,040
Before the hand was dealt, Posonap, whose real name is Poutos Panagiotis, said he was getting married on Sunday and joked; “My wife is here and wants the half.” Following his $13,310 payday, PokerStars wrote on its twitter page;
“Congrats to @posonap who was one of the players involved in the 85 Billionth hand & won over $13,000! Are we invited to the wedding?”
To which Panagiotis posted a reply saying; “ty pokerstars it will be the best gift for my wedding.”
Congratulations to all the micro players for cashing in at PokerStars 85 billionth hand. In the meantime, other PokerStars players will now be hoping to catch a piece of the 90 billionth hand as the special promotion rolls on towards the mega 100 Billion Milestone.
