Joan Rivers Continues Manic Tirade Against Poker Legend Doyle Brunson

The feud between manic comedienne Joan Rivers and the poker world, which got started last spring on Celebrity Apprentice, has continued with Doyle Brunson this time on the receiving end of her abusive diatribe.
River’s first let her feelings known about poker players on Celebrity Apprentice where she was a finalist along with poker pro Annie Duke. There she called her competitor in the show “Hitler” and branded poker players in general as “Worse than white trash”, “tax evaders”, and”individuals with no last name.”
All these disparaging remarks from Rivers didn’t go unnoticed at the time and Doyle demanded an apology for the poker world explaining he would be enjoying a bit of revenge on his Twitter account at her expense until she did. Some Of Doyle’s classic included:
“Joan Rivers bought a scarf but she took it back because it was too tight,” and “Joan Rivers went to the doctor for a zit on her butt. He told her it was a brain tumor.”
In the latest incident on Wednesday, Rivers and Brunson appeared separately on a Miami sports radio show when Joan Rivers, having been asked a question about Brunson, replied: “”Who the hell is Doyle Brunson? When you’re 76 and successful like me then come and talk to me..Who gives a damn?  Die under a deck of cards!”
On his slot later in the show Doyle responded to her comment by saying: “That would be a good place to go. It would be better than what she is going to die under….a pile of manure.”
Doyle, being a gentleman with class refused to step over the mark like his nasty mouthed opponent but instead summed things up nicely when he commented: “She had no call to berate the poker community the way she did.  It showed she had no class. Joan Rivers don’t need us and we don’t need her.”
Lets hope Joan River’s can take the hint but somehow I doubt it as that would require a level of subtlety and grace hitherto unseen in any of her actions and behaviour thus far.
