French Model-Turned-Actress Claire Renaut Joins Team 888poker

French Model-Turned-Actress Claire Renaut Joins Team 888pokerShowing there are no ends to her talents, French actress, model and movie script writer Claire Renaut has now signed a deal to become a member of Team 888Poker.
The glamorous Claire Renaut had been used to lighting up the silver screen with her classic gaelic looks but then turned her attention to poker after making an appearance on the TV series “Poker Academy Vegas,” in 2008.
She soon discovered an all-embracing love of poker and when she wasn’t either playing or learning the game from some of the world’s best professionals, she was writing articles on the subject for the French pokerwebsite ‘MadeInPoker.’
Forward wind two years of training later, and Claire felt finally ready to start entering live poker tournaments and her initial results have been more than encouraging. Between finishing in the money at her first tournament in the PokerStars NAPT DeepStack Extravaganza on Feb 17th, 2010, and her latest cash at the Venetian Deepstack 2010 on Jun 8, 2010, Claire has gone on to accumulate $33,459 in prize monies. Amongst those wins are a 1st place finish at the PaddyPowerPoker Irish Open and a 2nd place spot at PokerStars.com EPT Monte Carlo – Season 6.
Her dedication to the game coupled with a string of impressive results didn’t go unoticed by poker room 888.com and so Claire has subsequently found herself  landed with a lucrative deal at the site, where she now joins a top class team of celebrities and pros. Included amongst Team 888poker are Leo Margets, Shane Warne, Bojan Gledovich, Darren Woods, Steve Day, Tyler Bonkowski, Jolmer Meelis, Ernst Hermans and Patrick De Koster.
Claire Renaut can now look forward to representing the 888 brand at a host of top tournaments around the world, including at this year’s WSOP. In the meantime, Claire had already entered the competition before the deal was agreed and has already cashed at Event #13 – $1,000 No Limit Hold’em.
Good luck to Claire Renaut and after a great start to 2010, we look forward to reporting on her continued success throughout the year.
