Drunken Jonathan Duhamel Gets Fingered

Apparently, Jonathan Duhamel was on the end of another attack this week, if the AIM log chat between German poker pro Martin Finger (Piggybank) and friend (PlauZee) is to be believed.
The story, which later appeared on the 2+2 poker forum, took place in the Bahamas on the sidelines of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA).
As the story goes, a whole bunch of poker players were out at a club that night, including the 2010 WSOP main Event Winner Jonathan Duhamel and the  2011 EPT Prague Champion Martin Finger (pictured right).
The booze was in full flow, with Duhamel celebrating his recent 2nd place finish at the PCA $25k High Roller Event, not to mention cashing in at three other events for a total of $1,205,970.
According to Martin Finger, Duhamel was drunk and trash-talked him during the party, ironically leading to a situation in which Finger was kicked out of the club by security. Finger said he then waited outside for Duhamel to leave the club before punching him in the face, with security staff then jumping in to end the fight. As Martin Finger (Piggybank) recounted to his friend:
Piggybank: pissing me off, even i just wanted to walk by
Piggybank: really getting on my nerves
Piggybank: i just chill
Piggybank: he was kinda aggro
Piggybank: security
Piggybank: busting me
Piggybank: i’m out
Piggybank: waiting the whole time
Piggybank: with isildur
Piggybank: then duhamel showes up
Piggybank: i walk towards him an hit him directly in his face. security intervene
PlauZee: how sick is that?!
Piggybank: believe me
Piggybank: i’m peaceful
Piggybank: but that had to be

However, Jonathan Duhamel has yet to confirm the tale and judging by his tweets he was probably too drunk to remember it anyway. A friend of Duhamel called Donnie Peters twittered to him that although he came 2nd in the PCA High Roller Event, he surely won the ‘most drunk person in the club’ competition. Duhamel then tweeted back:
“Just landed in Montreal, head still hurting after an amazing night out yesterday! Really happy to be home for a few days and see my people..thanks for everything my boys…Indeed sick night yesterday..hahaha sick, I was aiming for the title since I was so pissed at myself about losing the HU.”
Jonathan Duhamel may now be surprised to learn his hurting head may partly be due to being bopped by Finger, as well as a hangover. But then again, at present we have only Martin Finger’s word for it.
