Victoria Coren, 38, graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree and has since carved out a successful career for herself across a range of occupations which include writing, presenting and, of course, playing poker.
The talented Ms Coren is a member of Team PokerStars, and with $1,476,666  in live tournament winnings to her name is currently ranked 12th on the Women’s All Time Money List. The Observer and Guardian newspaper columnist also often writes about the game and in September 2009 published her poker memoir entitled “For Richer, For Poorer: A Love Affair with Poker.”
In 2010, Victoria and confirmed bachelor David Mitchell appeared together on BBC quiz show called The Bubble and later in the year the singleton of seven years announced he was now dating someone. A few years of privacy on, and that someone has now been revealed as Ms Corenwho, replying to a flood of well-wishes today, wrote:
“Thank you for your nice tweets this morning. I’m very happy.”
David Mitchell, too, later tweeted: “Having received so many lovely messages today, I’m finally coming round to the idea of the internet. Thank you all. I’m incredibly happy.”
