Pornhub Diversifies Into Online Casinos

Not content to be just the world’s biggest pornography site, Pornhub has now branched out into the world of online casinos. Consequently, visitors to pornhubcasino.com are now given the opportunity to play sex-themed slot and video games on the site, but with the real draw coming in the form of scantily dressed female croupiers hailing mostly from Costa Rica awaiting gamblers at the roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and strip poker tables.
These tables are fitted with webcams, meaning that as well as being able to interact with partly dressed croupiers, gamblers will also be able to keep an eye on each other. According to Pornhub VP Corey Price this adds a nice touch of authenticity to the whole experience, and as he explains:
“We use webcams so everyone can see each other and speak to one another as though you would in a real setting. So yes, people who play will be visible.”
In addition, the website has a number of special treats planned for its gamblers, with stars of the porn industry such as Dani Daniels and Monique Alexander expected to drop in from time to time and do the odd shift at the tables. Discussing his inspiration for the lateral move into casino gambling, Corey Price explained to the Huffpost:
“Our users know a thing or two about having a good time online, so when a casino company approached us with an opportunity to blend gambling with porn, we had to consider it seriously. We decided to take a gamble, pun intended, and go ahead with the idea.”
Pornography continues to be one of the biggest draws online, and according to InternetSafety101 accounts for an incredible 30% of the internet’s usage. The Pornhub website, for instance, is the 65th most visited site online, with US visitors spending an average of almost 10 minutes per person, a statistic second only to Filipinos with an average of almost 13 minutes. No doubt combining pornography and gambling will cause those figures to rise, and as Price comments:
“The timing for this is perfect. At Pornhub we are constantly looking at ways to penetrate additional industries, grow our global community and expand our brand recognition. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to enter an industry that is experiencing exponential growth and we’re excited to make our mark.”
