Slots Jackpot Hit For $252K At Seminole Casino Immokalee

A New Jersey woman has been celebrating her incredible fortune after hitting the $252,829 slots jackpot at the Seminole Casino Immokalee while on vacation in Florida.
The anonymous lady known only as Kathleen E, said she didn’t usually play slot machines but was buoyed after a small win a few days earlier to give her luck another go. Commenting on the incredible chain of events, Kathleen E said:
“I like table games but I had played on a Wheel of Fortune one-dollar slot machine four days before, won $816 and got a big kick out of it. So I tried it again with my mom on a 25-cent machine for about 20 minutes. It was working for me. I had won $130. Then it worked for me big time.”
The married mother of two was paying an infrequent visit to the couple’s Estero, Florida vacation home and amazingly had only visited the nearby Seminole Casino Immokalee three times in the past, when her luck came up trumps.
On the afternoon of Monday, 17th January, Kathleen E started playing the 25c Wheel of Fortune progressive slot machine, which is part of a linked 300 casinos nationwide gaming network with an accumulative jackpot. Kathleen said she was feeding the machine the maximum nine-quarters bet each time when her lucky stars came in and, as she explains:
“If I hadn’t had played the maximum this wouldn’t have happened.”
Ecstatic that she did, Kathleen E couldn’t believe her good fortune after hitting the staggering jackpot, and says she is now looking forward to all the extra financial security winning the $252,829 jackpot will bring.
“We’re going to put the money in a 21-year annuity, have fun with some of it, and use the rest to pay bills. And go on more vacations,” she said.
Congratulations to Kathleen E on her tremendous win, the biggest at the Seminole Casino Immokalee since Christopher Detzler in August 2009 won $3,557,517 there, while playing a $5 Wheel of Fortune machine.
