Scot Wins Record £5.1 Million UK Slots Jackpot

Earlier this month, one luck punter from the UK made history after winning £5.1 million ($8m) at Betfred.com, thus becoming Britain’s biggest ever online progressive jackpot winner.
At the same time, the anonymous Scottish man’s life changing windfall is also the third biggest ever won worldwide, and incredibly enough came about after an initial bet of just £1. Originally, the man in his 20’s was woken by the barking of a dog outside his flat in Ayrshire,  and so decided to have a punt online after being unable to get back to sleep.
That was when he started playing Betfred’s King Kong slot at £1 per spin and made £250, before then turning his attention to the progressive Beach Life slots game. Just six spins later, and he ended up releasing the colossal jackpot, after five Wild sun symbols landed on the 20th payline.
As his friend then explains: “He obviously found it pretty difficult getting back to sleep after that. It’s just unbelievable. He owes it all to that dog – he’d like to meet it and shake its paw. He is over the moon and just trying to take it all in.”
