Michigan Woman Wins $1 Million At Atlantic City Casino

Michigan Woman Wins $1 Million At Atlantic City CasinoA Michigan woman had a night out she won’t soon forget after winning $1 million from a $20 bet while playing Three Card Poker 6 Card Bonus at an Atlantic City casino.
On Sunday June 17th at 5:30pm, Kathy Wayda was at Caesars Atlantic City playing Three Card Poker when she hit the Diamond Super Royal Flush worth $1 million, compared to other suits which would have netted her $100,000 instead. As the Southgate, Michigan native then explains:
“There were three other people sitting down at my table and everybody wanted to see what was going on. When I saw all six cards, I thought, ‘I cannot believe this, this is impossible.’ It was just a great feeling.”
Recreational gambler Kathy Wayda said prior to her incredible win at Caesars Atlantic City the most she ever recalls having won was $2,000 while playing a slot machine five years earlier. On Sunday, however, she overcame odds of around 20 million to 1 to hit her Royal Flush and win the life changing sum of money. Amazingly, despite the astronomical odds against making the hand, the week before on June 11th saw another player also walk away $1 million richer, and as Kathy Wayda explains:
“They had told me that after mine had shown-up, that someone hit a week ago, I could not believe it. I had played Three Card Poker before with the 6 Card Bonus side bet, but I didn’t even know this additional million dollar prize had been implemented until we got to Atlantic City.”
Following her incredible piece of good fortune in Atlantic City, when asked what she intended to do with the money the mother of one replied: “Well, I came back to work, right now I’m going to let it sink in and make some plans, so at this point it is going to my retirement and to the future.”
