New Jersey Woman Wins $1 Million At Harrah’s ResortOne ecstatic lady from Mays Landing in New Jersey has been celebrating her new life as a millionaire, after winning the Million Maker promotion organised by Caesars Entertainment.
Harrah’s Resort, Caesars, Bally’s and Showboat in Atlantic City are all participating in this summer’s promotion which guarantees four millionaires, and on Saturday, August 3, Donna Clopp became the third lucky winner to claim the huge payout. The other previous winners who became instant millionaires include Patricia Sheik of Lakewood and Dorothy Muller of Cherry Hill.
Following her life-changing win, Donna Clopp commented: “I’ve been coming to Bally’s and Atlantic City for the last 20 years, and what happened tonight is simply unimaginable. This has been a trying year; my family has experienced two car accidents, the inner lining of my pool went, and so many bad things have just happened that I didn’t expect something like this to come and change my life. I still can’t believe this.”
Donna Clopp has been working at a Camden animal hospital as an office manager for over 25 years and said she now intends to use some of the money to help animals in need. She said she also plans to buy a new car as her old one has 272,000 miles on the clock, and has had a faulty engine light for over ten years.
Just one other person will now have the opportunity to join the three lucky ladies from New Jersey, with the final Millionaire Maker draw expected on September 1st. As Caesars Entertainment explains on its site:
“Total Rewards members will earn entries for their play throughout the earning periods. From 1 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on drawing days—May 26, July 6, Aug. 3 and Sept. 1—winners will be selected every 30 minutes at each casino to win free slot play.
