Aced Poker Download

In its current form, Aced Poker is only available in a download format but does have plans to release a Mac compatible version of their platform in the near future. When the Aced Mac version does become available we will update this page accordingly. You can use this link to download Aced Poker which will begin the download and installation process. The download file is relatively small (14.5 MB) compared to some of the other poker sites and will take less than 60 secs, although this can vary depending on internet connection. Once the Aced software has completed the installation process you begin by creating a new account.  The Aced Poker software provides you with two options during initial registration, a Basic Account and a Full Account. We do advise players to register for a Full Account. Although both accounts will allow you to play at Aced for free, the Full Account is needed should you ever decide to use real money.

The graphics at Aced Poker are clean and minimal allowing for easy navigation and comprehension of game play on the site.  Although we’d like to see a better effort at developing some high energy graphics to enhance the games, Aced provides a serious environment which is good for straightforward players looking for solid games without the fuss of intense graphics.  Instead of having avatars representing your character, at Aced you are simply assigned your seat with a small bar that displays your username.  This is one major area where the site could improve graphically since most other sites offer cool avatars that represent you while in the game.

Software Features

One thing that really sets Aced apart from other online poker sites is the high number of well thought out features the site offers to players.  To start with, Aced Poker was the first to introduce what are known as “flipament” tournaments in their software which allow players to have coin-flip heads up matches with only one hand in play, the winner of which wins the series.  This was a hugely popular addition to the website and has been extremely well received by players.

In addition to the cool add-ons at Aced Poker, there are also a ton of technical features that players will enjoy while playing at the site.  Some of these include the option to Run It Twice, selecting your in-game display, change to multi-color decks, view complete game history plus a number of other features.

Aced Table Features

The tables are relatively standard although they do support the popular Merge features such as Smilies and Rabbit Hunts. You do have the option to use your own custom avatars although these are displayed fairly small making them almost useless. Players do have access to multi-tabling with resizable windows, cascading tiles and a tab menu system, all of which perform well. Last but not least, tagging and making notes on your players is a breeze and not only does the tagging system allow you to find your opponents quicker than any other site online but it will notify you instantly when that player logs into the poker client.
